I have wagered on countless of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of cash at 21. The casinos have made it basically impossible to beat the casino.

I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very thrilling at times. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a number of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You must understand that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.

Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet

Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10

Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first $10 bet

Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager

Wager $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager

Bet 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet

Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first $160 wager

If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
