I have gambled on millions of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have bet on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of money at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original sum.

I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a number of months ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can squander a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar table.

Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet

Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of $10

Bet 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet

Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20

Wager $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager

Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40

Bet $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 wager

Bet $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80

Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet

Bet $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager $160
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 wager

If you left at this point you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
