I have enjoyed countless of rounds of 21. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have gambled on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at blackjack. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to beat the game.

I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the idea that chemin de fer seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the wager back down to the original sum.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a few years back with $750 after 20 minutes using this method! And a number of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You have to understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you notice playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.

Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager

Bet $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of $10

Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar bet

Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet

Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager

Bet $40
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar

Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager

If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
