I have bet on millions of rounds of 21. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have enjoyed online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to beat the game.

I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or defeat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is centered on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original value.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very fun at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this tactic! And a number of months ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the runs you witness betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar table.

Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first five dollar bet

Bet 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 wager

Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager

Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager

Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet

Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first 1 hundred and sixty dollar wager

If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!

It’s iffy to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
