I have wagered on countless of hands of blackjack. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it basically impossible to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or beat the house, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original value.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely exciting at times. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years back with $750 after 20 minutes using this technique! And a few months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can squander a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 game.

Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet

Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first forty dollar wager

Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Bet $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the first $80 wager

Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 1 hundred and 60 dollar wager

If you left at this instance you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
